Didn't we already vote on Feb 4?

This is a great question. Yes, California did vote. You are not voting for the candidate I support by voting for me nor are you voting "again." On April 13, you will be voting for me to represent the people who voted for the candidate on February 4. You are voting for me to be a delegate at the convention. It's an odd process, but it's interesting too.

The number of delegates per candidate are based on the number of people who voted for them in each congressional district on the February 4th primary. You have probably heard the media referring to the number of "delegates" Obama and Clinton have because neither has enough "delegates" to win the election out-right? Well, I'm running to be one of the delegates. All delegates can change their mind and actually vote for another candidate; however, that happens very rarely. If Clinton drops out, then she will likely endorse Obama and ask her delegates to support Obama. The same would be true for Obama should he be the candidate to drop out. Whatever the outcome the process is certainly interesting.
