Since announcing my candidacy for delegate at the Democratic National Convention, I have received a lot of questions regarding my motivation to run.
The questions have been terrific.
Whether Obama or Clinton for the democrats or even McCain for the republicans, the opportunity to be a small part of history is a primary motivation for me. Obama would be the first major Black candidate, Clinton the first female, and McCain the oldest. We are watching history. I hope my involvement inspirez the 800 students with whom I work every day. I want to be a role model for them and to help them feel like a small part of history themselves through my civic involvement.
We're living history and it is...Amazing!
